1) Title : This is your Meta Title of your Blog which shows the Name you provided to your Blog. This must be either Unique / Simple to make sure user remembers it easily.
Generally we put our Website name or if you have a Long name then a short form must be written as the limit of title must be 10-12 Letters 👍
2) Description : This defines the small description of your Blogging Niche or any other welcome notice for your Website.
This also serves as the Meta Description of your Website and is important for your Blog with SEO point of view.
You must include your keyword atleast one time in this to make sure Google chooses you in that Keyword 🥰.
3) Blog Language : Put your Blogging Language here so that your site can be filtered to the category.
By default it is set to English (United Kingdom)
4) Adult Content : If you are posting adult content on your site which is for 18+ audience.
To be Frank if you are actually creating adult content or using such media then you should move to WordPress as Blogger actually bans such type of Websites 😂.
5) Google Analytics Measurement ID : In future Enhancement Articles I will provide you what and where do we use this thing.
But for now I can tell you that to record or analyse your websites traffic Google provides you even Real-Time data of your Audience and their interests based on AI calculations and User Data.
Hence using it will be great to find your next keyword or Topic you should move ahead.
6) Favicon : This is a small icon which is viewed by users on the HomePage of Google Search or you can say it is a smallest logo used for your website mark.
Size : 100kb
Type : PNG (better) ,JPG,JPEG,etc....
Privacy -
1) Visible to Search Engine : Please turn on it to increase Audience from Search Engines like Google,Bing,etc.. if you have submitted your Website.
Publishing -
1) Blog Address : This is your Blog Address which you choosed when you started making your Blog.
You can change it here or leave it as it is if you are going to use a custom domain.
But if you are using the Blogspot Subdomain then you must include your keyword in it to rank your Website.
2) Custom Domain : Add your Custom Domain through your Registrar in this section.
I will make a seperate Article for it later if you comment below 😁...
3) Fallback Subdomain : If you want to forward your users when your main site is not available then user this to redirect them to your Custom Subdomain.
4) Redirect Domain : Turn it on if you added a Custom Domain to make sure your website uses www subdomain 🙂.
HTTPS -
1) HTTPS Availability : Turn it on to make HTTPS available on your website and users can be rest assured that your website is safe to use.
If the HTTPS is not available on your Custom Blog then make sure the Proxies are enabled or the SSL certificate in registrar is using a proper Key 🗝️.
